Growing up in a Italian/Latin household, Executive Chef David Rodriguez worked by his mother’s side watching her cook, and eventually developing his owns specialty dishes. At the age of thirteen, he took his first job at a local French restaurant. Working in kitchens through high school, he won a scholarship to The Culinary Academy in Hyde Park, NY.
David’s resume includes, La Marmite, La Coquille, GEM Caterers and NYHospital Cornell Medical Center to name a few.
Inspired by the children’s book, Stone Soup, coupled with David’s expert knowledge of a variety of cuisine’s including French, Italian, Asian, Greek and Latin, Stone Soupe Fine Food and Catering was born.
